Democrat Officials Claim ‘White Supremacists’ Organizing Riots

Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) accused white supremacists of being involved in the ongoing Black Lives Matter riots in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area during a Saturday morning press conference.

FOX 9 reports that when Walz was asked whether he believed “white supremacists” were pouring into Minneapolis to “cause destruction in the city”, the Governor responded in the affirmative.

“We’ve got intel from all the different agencies, of course this is where the federal government helps us with some of this. I certainly can’t confirm personally on this. My suspicions from what I’ve seen on this – yes,” he said. “You’re seeing it highly coordinated across the country.”

He then claimed these nefarious “white supremacists” were blending in to the crowd to develop strategies for confronting the National Guard.

“It is a highly volatile situation, these folks who want to do this blend in, and when you look at those pictures like you see at night – oh, looks like they’re just strolling, and 8 o’clock’s coming and we’ll see if they go home – they didn’t come to stroll, they didn’t come to go home,” he said. “They came, asking where the Guard is and how they’re responding.”

In order to justify his far-fetched claims, he described the no-holds-barred tactics of the alleged “white supremacists”.

“These people have no rules, their one goal is destruction, or to hurt, or to entice those folks to come in.”

He went on to suggest that the shadowy white supremacists were involved in a nationwide conspiracy to stir up riots.

“It’s very clear by now when you have a situation like this across the country, elements that want to do that are certainly gathering, and they are professionals,” he added. “We’re seeing evidence of some pretty sophisticated attempts to cause problems.”

Walz then deferred to Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington to further clarify the allegation. Harrington claimed that even though no local law enforcement had observed white supremacists in the area, Minnesota authorities were “tracking” them anyway.

“We’ve got intel reports that have been confirmed, but I cannot say we have confirmed observations of local law enforcement to say that we have seen cells of white supremacists in the area,” Harrington added.

“We’ve got reports of that in the last couple of days, that we were tracking in terms of threat to the critical infrastructure, threat to the National Guard and others.”

Harrington also confirmed that federal law enforcement had revealed that violent drug cartels were involved in the riots, but then went on to say, “frankly, that’s a secondary or tertiary concern”.

On Saturday, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey tweeted claims that his city was now “confronting white supremacists” and “even foreign actors”. He did not name the “foreign actors” he was referring to.

In the past, senior congressional Democrats, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Sen. Kirsten Gilibrand (D-NY), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and former Rep. Beto Rourke (D-TX), have falsely described President Donald Trump as a “white supremacist”.
