Drunk Radical Leftist Allegedly Hunts Down, Murders 18-Year-Old Republican Over Political Views

In North Dakota, Cayler Ellingson, an 18-year-old Republican, was killed allegedly due to his political beliefs.

Ellingson was attending a street dance event in McHenry, North Dakota when he met 41-year-old Shannon Brandt, who drunkenly struck up a conversation with Ellingson about politics.

Brandt and Ellingson argued back and forth about politics but eventually, the street dance event ended and Ellingson began to walk home from the event.

According to court documents, while walking home, Ellingson called his mother to ask if she was familiar with who Brandt was and asked her to come pick him up.

Ellingson never made it home after that call. The 41-year-old Brandt allegedly chased down Ellingson and struck him with his SUV in an alleyway, killing the 18-year-old.

Brandt quickly left the scene of the crime and called 911 to report the murder. Brandt told the 911 dispatcher that he hit Ellingson with his vehicle because he was a part of a Republican “extremist group.”

Brandt was arrested at his home after fleeing the scene.

A judge ordered Brandt be held on $50,000 bail but the 41-year-old alleged murderer insisted he was not a flight risk: “I have a job, a life and a house and things I don’t want to see go by the wayside — family that are very important to me.”

The 41-year-old is currently being charged with vehicular homicide and at least 10 years in prison. Police are still investigating the case and more charges could be added.

The suspected killer posted bail and is now back on the streets, for now.

This horrifying act of violence against this young Republican comes after elected Democrat politicians have spread rhetoric demonizing Conservatives and Republicans over the past few months.

Two weeks ago, President Joe Biden called MAGA Americans and Trump supporters extremists that threaten democracy.

Tim Ryan, the Ohio Democrat U.S. Senate candidate, also labeled Trump supporters “extremists” and made calls “to kill and confront that movement.”
