Joe Biden has made the official announcement that he will be running with Senator Kamala Harris as his Vice President with the hopes that together they can ‘beat Trump.’
Biden made the announcement Tuesday via mass text, and over his Twitter account.
Back when Kamala was Attorney General, she worked closely with Beau. I watched as they took on the big banks, lifted up working people, and protected women and kids from abuse. I was proud then, and I’m proud now to have her as my partner in this campaign.

Twitter users were quick to rehash the #heelsupharris hashtag proving the internet never forgets. Harris earned the nickname at age 30 when she notable was sleeping with a 60-year-old who used his power as Assembly speaker to advance Harris’ career.

With #heelsupharris quickly gaining momentum on twitter, and reports already coming in saying the hashtag is being blocked on Facebook, Harris is almost certain to face criticism for her relationship with then 60-year old Willie Brown who has admitted Harris “slept her way to the top.”
So my friend just tried to post on Facebook the phrase #HeelsUpHarris it was instantly blocked. You think maybe Facebook knew about it?

Brown, who was a former lawyer, Mayor of San Francisco, and State Assembly Speaker admitted that their past relationship was a factor in her rise to success. According to a report in the American Thinker, Brown admits that he and Harris not only had an intimate relationship, but that Brown had “influenced her career.”
“Yes, we dated. It was more than 20 years ago. Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was Assembly speaker, and I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco,” Brown says when discussing his influence on Harris’ career.
Then 30-year-old Harris’ relationship with Brown not only solidified her move up in her career, but also earned her the nickname #heelsupharris.
A letter was addressed to Biden campaign by 100 ” prominent black men” including rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, radio show host Lenard McKelvey, actor Cedric Kyles, commentator Van Jones, Bishop William J. Barber and civil rights attorney Ben Crump. In the letter, the Biden campaign was warned that “failing to select a Black woman in 2020 means you will lose the election.”
” We don’t want to choose between the lesser of two evils and we don’t want to vote the devil we know versus the devil we don’t because we are tired of voting for devils- period.”
