Top Democrat Polling Company Says Biden Has 9-Point Lead in Poll With Sample Size of 805

A new poll from Hart Research Associates asserts that former vice president Joe Biden has a 9-point lead over President Donald Trump heading into the November election.

The Hart Research Associates poll contains a sample size of “805 likely November 2020 voters in six U.S. Senate battleground states,” and shows that the incumbent president may have a difficult fight on his hands as the economy remains largely closed and unemployment skyrockets due to coronavirus.

With just over 800 respondents, the poll focused exclusively on Colorado, Maine, Arizona, North Carolina, Iowa, and Montana. According to the poll, President Trump trails Biden in all six of the states, including the four that President Trump carried in 2016.

Of the 805 respondents, 50 per cent claimed they intend to vote for Biden, while 41 per cent intend to vote for President Trump. 9 per cent claim they are either undecided or intend to vote for a third party candidate.

It must be noted that Hart Research Associates, the organization behind the poll, appears to be staunchly left of center.

Founded by Peter Hart, who frequently appears on cable news programs and routinely provides polling data to Democrats as well as corporate news outlets, the Washington, D.C.-based organization confesses to focusing on providing polling data to Democrats.

According to their Twitter bio,Hart Research Associates is a leader in public opinion research and strategy for news organizations, corporations, non-profits, labor, and Democratic leaders.

Other recent polling provided by Hart Research Associates claims that the majority of Americans have a favorable view of the United States Postal Service, an issue which has received large amounts of press by Democrats including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

President Trump has repeatedly blasted polling organizations, calling out their flawed methodology and blasting them as fake.

As recently as last week, President Trump took to Twitter to write, “FAKE POLLING, just like 2016 (but worse)!”
