VIDEO: Popeye’s Customer Wrecks Car While Cutting Line For Coveted Chicken Sandwich

Popeye’s chicken has been in the news recently over the release of a new popular sandwich challenging Chick-fil-A’s stunning success.

A twenty-eight-year-old man was stabbed to death in Maryland within fifteen seconds of cutting in line to sample the new delectable chicken sandwich.

According to The New York Post:

Kevin Tyrell Davis, 28, had spent about 15 minutes “methodically” bypassing customers in a line just for the sandwich Monday, Prince George’s County Police Chief Hank Stawinski told reporters.

An unidentified man waiting in the special queue challenged Davis and the argument spilled outside the restaurant, which was just outside Washington D.C.

Davis was stabbed once in the upper body, police said. Cops found him in the parking lot when they arrived and he died at a nearby hospital less than an hour later.

This time, all the way across the country, a woman at a downtown Los Angeles Popeye’s drive-thru franchise tried to cut the line, but ended up wrecking her car in the process.

In the footage, the woman, driving an early 2000s silver Mercedes, desperately attempts to cut the drive-thru line but scrapes a pillar on her right hand side.

Despite failing to fit through the tight squeeze; undaunted, the woman persists in placing her order.

The Daily Mail adds:

As bystanders call out that she’s ‘f***ing [her] sh*t up,’ she backs up and grinds her car against the same post again, before shunting forward and colliding with another vehicle.

‘It’s never that serious,’ someone can be heard calling out in the background. ‘All this for a chicken sandwich,’ another adds.

Sadly for the unnamed woman, a Popeye’s employee refuses to take her order after the ruckus caused by her queue-jumping antics.

The woman further damaged her Mercedes by grinding up against the pillar in an effort to manoeuvre away from the scene.
