VIDEO: Teacher Compares Trump to Nazism and Communism in Slides Shown to Baltimore Students

A teacher at Loch Raven High School in Baltimore, who has been described as a far-left activist, incorporated anti-Trump rhetoric into lessons delivered to students over the span of a week.

The comparison left parents enraged, but they are still reportedly scared into silence due to the potential of repercussions against their children by staff, parents, or fellow students who may be anti-Trump as well.

Due to this fear, the parents chose to reach out to Fox Baltimore over the phone.

A statement from one of these parents phone calls says the lesson was supposedly world leaders “shunning other groups out.”

Another parent stated, “my understanding is yesterday that was just put up and was just left there for everyone to see the whole day.”

“This slide was used as part of a lesson in AP History course. The topics being discussed included World Wars and the attempts by some leaders to limit, or prevent migration, into certain countries. In isolation and out of context with the lesson, the image could be misunderstood. In our Advanced Placement (AP) classes, which are college level courses, we expect and encourage analysis and discussion around historical events even if they are considered controversial. This lesson was not intended to make a political statement,” Baltimore County Schools said in a statement sent to Fox Baltimore. “If a student has a concern when discussing a controversial issue, schools have the tools to address the concern and support the student.

Wade Kach, Baltimore city Councilman since 2014 and representative of district 3 where Loch Raven High School is located, is demanding that he be informed as to where this “so-called history lesson” came from.

“Is this curriculum for AP, is it a purchased curriculum? Is it one that our school system wrote? Where is it coming from?” Kach said.
