Watch Vince Vaughn Introduce Ron Paul in 2011

Actor Vince Vaughn introduced libertarian icon Ron Paul at the Liberty Political Action Conference (LPAC) in 2011, highlighting his years of right-of-center thinking. Vaughn recently made headlines for his pleasant conversation with President Donald Trump at the college football national championship game, raising questions in the public about his political beliefs.

Vaughn, who vaulted to Hollywood fame with his starring role in the indie comedy “Swingers” in 1996, reached out to Ron Paul regarding Vaughn’s concerns about the Federal Reserve, and the two struck up a friendship.

Vaughn did not seem too concerned about being blacklisted in Hollywood — the haven of the modern status quo — when he introduced Paul at this event.

Vaughn’s pro-business, pro-personal responsibility, right-leaning worldview was encapsulated fittingly in one of his underrated lesser-known films, “Unfinished Business,” which cast him as an American entrepreneur fighting obstacles to close a big sale.
